Simple Mittens - $40

Saturdays, Oct. 21st 12-1p, Oct. 28th 12-2p, & Nov. 4th 12-1p

A warm pair of mittens is a winter necessity.  Luckily, they're easy to make!  This class will guide you through the entire process of mitten knitting.  If you've never started a project on double-pointed needles, the first class session will get you started.  We'll be covering thumb-gusset construction and hand decreases in the second session.  The last session will walk you through working the thumb and finishing the top of your mitten.  We'll be using an amazingly versatile pattern from Tin Can Knits which allows you to choose any size from toddler to adult large and use any weight of yarn!

Prerequisites: Classic Hat class OR advanced-beginner skills (long-tail cast-on, knit & purl, experience knitting in the round, simple decreases)
