Cindersmoke Mittens - $30

Saturdays, February 20th & March 5th, 10a-12p

Winters are long and chilly here in Wisconsin, but you can keep yourself warm with some hand knit mittens!  In this class, students will be walked through cuff-up mitten construction.  We will cover how to knit a thumb gusset for a great fit, how to work the Double Moss Stitch, decreasing, and picking up for the thumb.  These chunky, textured mittens knit up quickly, so you'll have plenty of time to wear them once the class is over!

Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills, including some experience with double-point needles OR Classic Hat class

Homework: Students should cast on and knit the ribbed cuff of one mitten prior to the first class
